The STIGA Tornado 5108e is a high-performance, all-electric tractor specifically engineered for maintaining large estates and managing tall, dense grass. As a side-discharge specialist, it eliminates the need for frequent stopping to empty a collector, making it the most efficient choice for fast coverage of open lawns and paddocks up to 15,000 m².
Powered by the next-generation ePower Pro 56V modular system, the 5108e delivers the equivalent torque of a high-capacity petrol engine with none of the fumes, vibration, or engine maintenance.

Smart, safety tested and synched with STIGA products, ePower is the next generation in batteries. Tests we run on ePower batteries are 5 times tougher than Industry standard requirements, to ensure the highest quality standards in terms of performance, reliability and battery health through time. Our batteries are efficient, as we optimised and secured the position of each individual cell; safe, as we created space to allow air to cool; and smart, as we we developed and tested the electronics and software that controls the cells. They power longer and live longer, thanks to a smart energy management operated by all machines and tools running on interchangeable ePower batteries.

While checking out, you will be offered our Start 'N' Go + delivery service. Selecting this option means that this machine will be fully assembled & delivered by one of our team on our own transport, at a convenient time for you. On arrival we will perform a full demonstration for you of the functionality of the machine and give any training that is required, so you are confident using your new machine before we leave you, an essential option for a new or occasional user.

- We know from experience that when our customers buy a new piece of garden machinery, they want it to work – straight out of the box.
- They don't want to spend time assembling it, adding oil and generally fiddling about – they just want to start using it as quickly as possible.
- They also want it delivered at a time to suit and them on a day to suit them.
What is Start 'N' Go+?
This "white glove" service has been introduced as we feel there may be a requirement that a customer requires more than just the product delivered in a box where DIY assembly is required... and ever more than our very successful Start & Go service where the products is assembled and ready to use, but would still require the removal of the product off the pallet and to study the owners manual before use. If this is you or wish to purchase a product for a loved one, Start & Go + is the service for you.
When you select any of our Start ‘N’ Go Plus products, you will receive a personal VIP treatment every step of the way. Your product will be picked, fully assembled and set-up and when it is ready one of our specialist delivery drivers will contact you to arrange a delivery day and time that is convenient to you. On arrival our driver will talk you through the safe operation of the whole machine, along with advice on, basic maintenance, storage and using the machine. They will require you to test drive your new product on your lawn to see you are 100% happy with the operation and to answer any questions you may have.
Please note: This service is only available in selected postcodes, so please check with us before you select this service.

- We un-pack your new machine and fully assemble it, saving you the time & hassle of doing it yourself.
- We add oil and petrol and fully test all the controls and functions of the machine to ensure they are in perfect working order.
- We will also fine tune the engine to ensure it is running at optimally.
- We wrap in protective covering to ensure your product arrives in perfect condition and securely fix it onto one of our pallets.
- We will then dispatch your machine and our carrier will then call you to arrange delivery. You will be able to choose your delivery day
- When it arrives you just un-box or unwrap your machine, push or drive it off the pallet, add fuel and then just Start 'N' Go*
We also promise to keep you fully informed every step of the way and will work hard to ensure your buying experience - from purchase to delivery - is as simple and stress-free as we can make it.

Because of this, delivery is 3-5 working days (if ordered Mon-Fri, stock permitting) but during quieter times this can be much sooner. Orders placed over the weekend will be processed on the following Monday (or Tuesday if a bank holiday). You will be contacted by the Transport Company 'Palletline' to book your delivery in. Please ensure you provide a daytime contact number on your order.
Ride-On Mowers - We charge a minimum rate of £69.00 (for smaller garden riders) and £79.00 (for garden tractors) for all Start 'N' Go orders. This service is available to most mainland England and Wales postcodes. We cannot currently offer this service to any Scottish postcodes.
Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).

Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you. Stiga have been associated with garden machinery for well over 80 years. In March 1934, Sweden, Stig Hjelmquist started the company ‘Firma Fabriksprodukter’ which became the foundation of Stiga AB. The original business concept was ‘newsworthy products of good design and good quality, with advertising that is better than our competitors.’ This business concept was designed to permeate through the whole of Stig Hjelmquist’s business life.
In 1938 the company name was changed to Stiga and the very first Stiga table tennis products were produced. In 1943 Stiga were producing table tennis equipment under their own management, but a few years later they began cooperating with the Swedish TableTennis Association.
In 1954 Stig Hjelmquist imported the first motorized lawn mowers with horizontally rotating blades from the US. That became the starting point of Stigas most successful line; garden machinery.
Over the next few years Stiga continued to work on their table tennis line and produced the first table hockey game. But in 1964 they began their own line of lawnmowers which was incredibly successful. Roughly 400 machines were produced every day.
Stiga became established abroad and sales offices were opened in London and Helsinki, Finland. In 1975 Stiga launched the very first Park: Park 2000, a ride on lawn tractor with a front deck which revolutionized grass cutting in Nordic countries
By 1976 Stiga’s new factory was a massive 34,000m2 making it the biggest factory in the Nordic countries producing motor driven lawnmowers.
Stiga became the biggest manufacturer of lawn mowers in Europe by 1986. They introduced the first mower with the Multi-clip technology, and the first radio controlled mower.
By 1997, Stiga were represented in roughly 40 countries, including New Zealand, North America, South America and Eastern Europe.
Now, Stiga are owned by the GGP Group, manufacturer of one of the largest range of lawn mowers and garden machinery in Europe. GGP UK Limited distribute all Stiga garden machinery in the UK.
The quality of Stiga’s machines is second to none. The lawn mowers are built to get the job done efficiently and safely with no fuss and no time wasting. They feature powerful Stiga engines or other well known top brands such as Briggs and Stratton or Honda. The range includes hand pushed models and self propelled machines to choose from.
