Aimed at the professional user, this Stihl HTA 150 cordless pole pruner is a hard working and efficient tool in the right hands. The short shaft together with the 30cm/12” bar and a ⅜” P saw chain makes it the ideal tool for working in forestry, landscaping and orchards. This model is prepared for use with a Smart Connector 2 A and is IPX4 rated for working in all weather conditions. Thanks to the short rigid shaft and a total length of 196cm, you have lots of options with this model and you can guarantee it can tackle all manner of jobs in an efficient manner. Pruning, thinning and general maintenance can all be undertaken and Stihl suggests that this model can tackle branches up to 20 cm in diameter.
Being battery operated, you’ll never need to worry about filling with fuel or dealing with fumes, noise and smells as you work. This cordless Stihl HTA 150 is perfect therefore for when you need to work in noise sensitive areas such as schools and hospitals. Thanks to the powerful EC electric motor, this model is quieter, lower on vibrations and altogether easier, safer and more pleasant to work with than its petrol powered counterpart.
Part of the Stihl AP cordless range, this model uses the same batteries and charger that power the other tools in the range, therefore you don’t need more than one battery and charger, saving you money, hassle and of course space. The lightweight magnesium gear box means that the cutting head is lighter than ever, allowing you to work with care and attention to detail without feeling the strain of a heavier model. Agile and easy to manoeuvre this Stihl HTA 150 is a pleasure to work with. The loop handle gives you maximum control and the sturdy branch hook allows for excellent gripping and removing loose cuttings.
If you need to maintain fruit trees then you can select the 1/4” P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) chain instead of the 3/8” P Picco Micro 3 (PM3) chain - giving you even greater flexibility in your working day. For added safety this Stihl HTA 150 cordless pole pruner features a useful protective foot - this handy feature ensures that the motor casing is prevented from making contact with the ground, so there’s no risk of damage. Another great feature that ensures the longevity of the engine, is the air filter on the housing.
