The Stihl RMA 253 cordless lawn mower has been designed for medium sized gardens and this is because it is agile and simple to operate. The robustly built frame offers a steel deck and thanks to its low weight it is easy and safe to push around your garden. The direct-drive EC motor is powered by an up to date, extremely efficient AP System battery with an ECO mode built-in, so you only use as much power as you need, saving valuable battery power.
This robust machine is perfectly suited to a harder workload thanks to its torsion-resistant sheet steel construction. The powder-coated sheet steel housing ensures a long and useful life and therefore this Stihl RMA 253 lawn mower is worth every single penny of its more than reasonable price tag. The folding handle bars will be a plus when it comes to storing it away in your shed.
It's good to note that the highly regarded Stihl AP System battery is fully interchangeable with other products in the Stihl AP range. This means that you can have lots of different machines but you'll only need one battery and one charger. Therefore you can keep adding different tools as the needs of your garden change and you won't need to keep buying more batteries. This will save you money and hassle, and of course one battery takes up very little space in your shed.
You'll soon see that this Stihl RMA 253 cordless lawn mower is remarkably easy to operate. It's incredibly efficient and lightweight and the grass box is simple to remove. At 55 litres capacity this sizable polymer grass bag will save you trips to the compost heap as it carries a huge load and thanks to its fill level indicator you can ensure the grass bag never gets too full and hard to empty. The handle and flap on the top makes emptying it easier than ever.
You can cut the grass your way thanks to the generous amount of cutting heights - there's seven in total. A spring-loaded central cutting height adjustment allows for easy switching between these seven stages that range from 25 to 75mm. There's even an indicator on the side of the wheels in plain sight to show you which height you've selected.
Stihl suggests the RMA 253 cordless lawn mower is ideal for spaces up to 300 m² when using the AP 300 battery. LEDs on the battery also show you the charge status at any time at the push of a button - so you can easily keep track of how much power you have left. You may also like to know that this device is compatible with Smart Connector and can easily be integrated into the STIHL connected system.
Your lawn will be cut to a neat standard thanks to the fan blade - the strong air flow that the blade generates in the housing, the grass is lifted before cutting - thanks to the integrated and powerful air control system. The smooth running wheels have been equipped with a directional stability profile and this ensures they stay on track, allowing you to cut in neat lines and also making the lawn mower easier to manoeuvre.

Ride-On Mowers - We charge a minimum rate of £69.00 (for smaller garden riders) and £79.00 (for garden tractors) for all Start 'N' Go orders. This service is available to most mainland England and Wales postcodes. We cannot currently offer this service to any Scottish postcodes.
Everything else - We charge a minimum rate of £29.00 for all Start 'N' Go orders which are being sent to UK mainland addresses (England, Wales and some Scottish addresses*).

Our premium Start 'N' Go+ service is available on certain products to most of England and Wales. Products that receive this service will be assembled, tested and personally delivered by one of our team on our own transport. We will also fully demonstrate the product for you. Delivery is usually 3-5 working days (if ordered Mon-Fri, stock permitting) but during quieter times this can be much sooner.
